Andy Bull joins OGHC Men’s 1s playing squad and the Ladies Coaching team.

We are delighted to announce that Andy Bull will be joining OGHC ahead of the new season.

Andy will be joining our successful women’s coaching team and will be leading the Ladies 1s in partnership with our current Ladies 1s coach, Sarah Kay. In addition to this, he will also become a playing member of the Men’s 1s squad.

Andy has a wealth of experience playing abroad in some of the top leagues around the world having had stints at Royal Wellington THC in Belgium, Pinoke in Amsterdam as well as 2 spells playing in Australia for Hawthorne HC in Melbourne and Melville HC in Perth. Andy joins us from Royal Beerschot THC where he has been playing for the past 2 seasons. They finished 2nd in the Belgian league and qualified for next seasons Euro Hockey League. Andy has recently made his full senior Scottish debut and will be hoping to compete in upcoming tournaments over the summer with the FIH ProLeague Finals in June and the European Championships in August.

Andy has earnt the reputation as an uncompromising defender and fierce competitor which are traits we welcome to our talented squad.
